No...they didn't install it. After all that! :lol: I have to cut down a few tree limbs in order for it to get the right positioning in the sky. :( But at least there's still a possibility for me to get it. Some people they just have to say, sorry...can't do anything.

It's been a rough couple of days here, what with my grandfather's heart attack, and my busted pipe, and I really appreciate all of you guys. Your love and support is truly amazing, and is such an uplifting force in my life. THIS is what neighborhoods were supposed to be like. It's such a wonderful feeling to know that the spirit of community lives on, and even though we may be seperated by miles, states, and even a country, we are all linked inexorably...

It made me break down and cry this morning when I checked my voice mail and my PM from Dana. You are such wonderful people and I am blessed to have you all in my life...

Leaving high school behind was a welcomed experience for me...:shrug: But then, I think about the fact that I don't keep in touch with people from HS anymore and I understand why it wasn't hard for me to leave.

But change in itself is difficult. I've learned that over the past two years.

LOL I figured... that or you ran into someone you knew at ABC... I've often gone to ABC with perfectly good intentions on getting work done on my laptop - but I always run into people I know there. :lol:

Oh...see leaving high school was a big thing for me. I was really involved in theater in high school. So it stunk having to say goodbye to all those people. And I was afraid I'd never see all my close friends again...since they were all going off to different colleges around the country at the time.

Turns out, I had nothing to worry about...my best friends then are still my best friends now...so I had no need to worry. The people that you really care about will stay in your life as long as you let them. :D

So true... when I left OH I thought I'd lose touch with everyone I cared about... but thanks to email, phones, texting, myspace, facebook and all those other techno things I really haven't missed a beat with anyone! I haven't seen some of them for over 8 years - but we still talk on an almost daily basis...
