May I just say that I really really really love you guys? I was incredibly touched by Dana's kind gesture...

It's been a rough couple of days here, what with my grandfather's heart attack, and my busted pipe, and I really appreciate all of you guys. Your love and support is truly amazing, and is such an uplifting force in my life. I cannot imagine how worse off I would be right now if I hadn't decided to start posting in Chit Chat a year or so ago... and now look at our little community...

THIS is what neighborhoods were supposed to be like. It's such a wonderful feeling to know that the spirit of community lives on, and even though we may be seperated by miles, states, and even a country, we are all linked inexorably...

It made me break down and cry this morning when I checked my voice mail and my PM from Dana. You are such wonderful people and I am blessed to have you all in my life...

OT:

Derek just called me. He was sent an article for work this morning and thought he had to share it with me. [He currently works for Department of Children Services (but only for two more weeks!) - so he is constantly reading things about s3xually transmitted diseases, abuse, etc.]

Anyways... he got a kick out of it b/c of the expert quoted in the short article. :lol: His name just isn't right for the type of research he's doing...

yes.... its been so busy.. we finally hired an assistant for us outside sales guys and he is doing great.. just training him takes time.

Hello again - our lawn is looking gy too, although this weekend we are cleaning out the garage. Time to start getting ready for a garage sale. We have a bunch of boxes and old junk to haul away. I told Mike to check each box to make sure there aren't any more of Satan's minions (i.e. snakes) under or in any boxes, before we haul them away. Maybe we'll have time to work outside too. Everything is rapidly becoming junglefied.
