Chris is a worship leader for our church. He's at a smaller campus in western SC, so his band came and did a concert and he spoke. :) He seems like a big sweetheart - but I've never met him personally. We have a big church. :lol:

Thanks! Actually that was the one they just bought here in Tennessee.

I'll take some photos of their house next weekend though. DH and I are going up there one last time. It'll be sad seeing the house I grew up in for the last time. There's so many memories I have in that house...
Playing atari and Sega's "ToeJam and Earl" with my brother
Seeing my brother the night he went to prom (wow that was 19 years ago...)
Being amazed at my brother "solving" the Rubik's Cube
Hugging my brother in the dining room for the very last time...
:( :( :( I guess he's the only reason it'll be so hard...:o

She actually lives two towns away from me.
She went to the Catholic grammar school that some of my friends went to.

His title is "Connecting Pastor" - he'll be in charge of organizational stuff - visitors, assimilation, small groups, Sunday school, etc. :sohappy: I'm so excited and happy for him - not to mention so proud! He is an amazing person and I know he'll be a great pastor!

:sohappy: :sohappy: That is incredible Kat! It's really hard for younger guys to get their foot in the door as a pastor around here... my BIL just graduated with a BA in Ministry and Sociology (he wants to do counseling) and he's had a tough time even though he's been an intern in our church for over 4 years now... He'll be an amazing pastor too... but no definate offers yet...

It hits close to home to see your DH get a successful position like that within the church! It makes me really proud of him too... and I don't even know him! :lol:

Aw! Thanks Jess! And we are really lucky with Derek getting this job so soon. It must just be God's timing. Though sometimes I feel unprepared... "pastor's wife" ... :eek:

I don't have any digital photos of him on my computer. I think I'll scan some this weekend and share them with y'all. You guys have become close to me so I'd love for you to see what he looked like.
