Abby was invited today to attend a young author's conference here in town. She should be home in about an hour, so I'm hoping it went well. She was stressing over her clothes this morning, because they were told to dress nicely, like young authors. :rolleyes: So, she wanted to wear dress slacks and shoes, a nice blouse, and her hair in a bun.

I wish! I would love to have a British accent. In college, there was this guy in my hall from South Africa. I thought he was the coolest guy ever. Anything he said made him sound cool and better than me. He could say something like, "I really shouldn't have eaten three bean burritos" and it sounded so sophisticated.

I love British accents.
When we go to WDW we often wind up in conversations with Brits and I'm always enthralled. They sound classy without even trying.

I was in junior high/ high school during the Beatles' heyday. My friends and I all pretended we had British accents. We were such dorks!
