Hello all - had to reschedule my dr appt - he was called out to emergency surgery... Now I have to wait until June 8th.

That stinks.

Oh! That reminds me I need to make some baby shower invitations for a friend from church.

DH and I will probably watch one of our Netflix movies tonight. We're catering tomorrow (kind of a side-job - pays really well) and then on Sunday DH's new position will be announced in church!

It's a Sony Cyber-Shot, similar to the one Lauren has, but with a larger viewing screen. I wanted a large screen.

I hate wearing bathing suits, but the pool season here is a big deal. It's what everyone does. We go to the pool, just about every day. And no one cares what anyone else looks like, because we all come in different shapes and sizes. We're all comfortable with that.

Hello everyone. Sorry it took me so long to reply. I was eating a Little Debbies Peanut Butter bar. :slurp:

I don't have to take my DD to the Doc until next Sept or Oct. and that is just to make sure she isn't getting stressed out at school at that point. She hasn't pulled her hair out since before Lent.:sohappy:

Looks like I might have another opportunity. This place has been calling me for the last week but I told them I wasn't interested. It's a British company that has an office in San Fran. I said I wasn't interested in moving to SF... or London (though that would be kinda cool.) Then today, they called me saying they're opening offices in SoCal and asked if I would be interested. I basically said "I'm listening..." :lol: We'll see. They're gonna give me more info about it.

Abby was invited today to attend a young author's conference here in town. She should be home in about an hour, so I'm hoping it went well. She was stressing over her clothes this morning, because they were told to dress nicely, like young authors. So, she wanted to wear dress slacks and shoes, a nice blouse, and her hair in a bun.
