I am home. left work at about 11 with a migraine. took my computer home, took a nap and starting to feel better. Vision is blurry and neck and head still hurt but at least it doesn't as bad... and... at least I am not at work

I'll just assume you're in a pain-induced haze and didn't really mean that.

My daughter and I both get migraines, although hers are far worse than mine and much more frequent. She and I both get relief from sipping black coffee. Sometimes amazingly quick relief!

of course I didn't, although I took enough exedrin that I probably wouldn't pass a drug test and shouldn't operate heavy machinery... luckily my laptop is lightweight

I have an etiquette question if anyone has any answers.
DD and I are invited to Dave's niece's bridal shower. They enclosed cards about where the are registered, and frankly, there's nothing on their lists that I can afford, or would choose to give as a shower gift. Would it be wrong for me to give them something else, or perhaps a gift card instead of a gift from her list?
