1984? If so, yeah, I hated that book too. I flunked every test on it because I hated reading it so much.:lol:
The other books I had to read which I hated were:
Things Fall Apart ( well, this one was okay... )
Ferenheit 451 ( talk about burning books? I wanted to burn THIS book )
Siddhartha ( good lord, quite possibly one of the worst books I've ever had to read. )

I read that a few years ago.
I don't remember it being that bad.
Neither was the concept.
Besides, it was a simple little book.
