Reminder: I used to be a nanny. I loved The Wiggles...until I discovered the occupational hazard of their songs getting stuck in my head and then me singing them later on around my friends. :lookaroun I did take the girls to see the stage show when they were in Chicago. And enjoyed it.

My bad, it's fruit salad not slushie

That's ok; It is more of a fruit salad with a little slush.

Hi Everyone!

Steph, I am sorry about your DBF's sister's miscarriage. Just a sad situation - that is something that never leaves you, although it does fade with time. Just give her some time to think and grieve and let her know you'll always listen if she needs to talk.
Bunny, I hope your mom's accident isn't too serious - you be careful on the ice too!

Disney dilemma folks: OK, here's the latest on our next trip to Disney...Originally the plan was to go when the kids didn't have school, which either meant spring break or summer vacation (2008). Spring break is peak season, so too expensive and crowded, and summer..waaaaay too hot. I get really sick when it's humid. Anywho, now we're back to looking at sometime next school year, either Thanksgiving time or early in the school year, like September. The week of my B-day (Sept 11th) might be possible, because crowd levels look like they'll be low, but is it still very hot at that time? If so, we'll be looking at November instead. Any thoughts, opinions, encouragement, discouragement, etc etc???? :hammer:

Crowd levels would be good in September, as long as it's after Labor Day. And the weather will be a little cooler, but could also be rainier since that's hurricane season.

personally I would take heat over crowds... September is typically better, we went in October and November in 206 and 2005 and were pretty warm both times. Oct had record high heat... 91!
