OT: So, we just got some really sad news. DBF's sister (my friend) had a miscarriage and lost their baby. :( They just found out a few weeks ago that she was pregnant so it was very early. I talked to their mom and she said she's really upset and doesn't want to talk to anyone (understandable). I feel bad just sitting here though...would it be bad to send flowers or something, or should I just leave it for a few days. :veryconfu

That's a tough one, on one hand you want her to know you are thinking about her and on the other you don't want to do anything that "brings it up again"

Just call, let them know that you're there for them, and if they ever need to talk, you're available.

And whatever you do, don't say how it was all meant to be somehow.
