The internet is dreadfully slow here!:brick:

Susan--Give your hair a couple of days to see if you like it....if not you should definetly go back and have them re-do it.

This is only this second time I have done this so I have a question. What is the differance between getting the foil or the cap? I have done the cap both times. When they pull the hair though those holes it hurts.( tender head)

I usually get the foil (only once or twice the cap)....I'm not really sure what the difference is. It seems like with the foil they have better control over where the highlights are placed. Recently I have been getting two colors put in my hair (highlights and lowlights) so I think you can only do that with foil.

Well maybe I should try the foil then. but it was 10 dollars higher.:hammer: I have never colored my hair or really got it cut except for straight across and long (middle of the back) now it is shoulder length.

I've never been given the choice...they stylist just did their thing. I guess its good that I like what they do.:D

I tend to get bored with my hair. I'll go in and just say "Change it. I don't care what you do but change it." Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I had a stylist at home that I really really like...now that I'm in New York I don't know what to do. I keep trying to put off hair cuts until I can go home. I got one cut in NY and was not happy with it. Most of the places everything is so expensive. Hopefully we will go home sometime soon and I can try to schedule an appointment.

I did that a couple of times and they just layered it. DH hated it. So I just stuck to what I have and now that I am getting older I don't want to take all my time on my hair.:lookaroun I have mostly just washed and brushed it.:zipit:

To knock her out when she just gets too hard to handle...today it was over the fact that she wanted to ride a camel and a dinosaur and she couldn't.....sigh, my poor baby.

Are there any other methods that any of her therapist have taught you that may work instead of knocking her out? I work with small chidren and have been taught several ways of calming down special needs children.

Yeah I'm not so good at spending time on my hair in the morning. My hair has just enough curl to it that I have to blow it straight or it looks all messy and nasty but not enough curl that I can wear it curly.:hammer: Somedays I really hate trying to blow it straight and it ends up straight in the front and wavy in the back...oops!
