He will be fine in the strollers, they are huge. You don't *need* to state that he is autistic, just what his needs are. Like I said, he needs to be there with you. I think that being able to use the stroller like a wheelchair will help you a lot. You do nned to state what they can do ot help along with what happens to him: for example:

My son Joel has special medical needs, he gets overwhelmed by too much noise and activity, so it would be helpful if we could use his stroller as a wheelchair and for him to be able to wait in a quiet location if possible.

Hmmm....have to think about this. We're thinking that we would only need a GAC on those rides that don't have FastPass, if the lines are really long. Are the crowds manageable the last week of November? I have reread the Unofficial Guide and come up with our own kind of touring plan for each park, so I am hopeful use of the GAC will be minimal. Are there any rides that stand out in your mind where the GAC is absolutely necessary?

Really, our biggest issue with Joel is when he gets too hot, his sensory overload happens faster. Loud places with a lot of people talking or crowding him (heck that bothers me ). I hope if we take plenty of quiet breaks, meltdowns will be few and far between. We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge, so on our Epcot and MK days we'll go back there midday for a break too.

(I did, however, protect a girl from a pudding cup. )

awwwwww Her knight in shining, albeit a bit sticky now, armor! ;)

Awww... Now I've got a cute nickname for you!

How's it going, Puddin?

  Wow. That.... is an MJ hall of fame name. :sohappy:

I've decided that I love the song Take My Breath Away.
I want it to be my wedding song.

Awww... I LOVE that song. :) Great choice Freddy!

This is what happens when you're a good person.

Hmmm... in that case... I dub you sugar. ;) Now we've got a puddin and a sugar in MJ's thread... this place just keeps getting sweeter. :D

I'm sorry, but it's quite impossible for me to spare any girl from the blunt of a pudding cup, with the whole... all-male school thing.

hmmm... there's always the nonall-male bonfires. ;)

ask someone if they want to play the part of damsel in distress, and take it from there. :lookaroun

ROFL oh dear... *pictures that* hahahahaahahahahaha

Do you ever not?

 oh dear... poor betty... but.... hahahahaahhaaha

Remember, if you need a quiet place for him to rest, first aid is always a good option. We've used them for many a meltdown.

So very true. First aid and the baby stations have quiet rooms... great places to chill if needed.

Where is Fishy today?

Not sure where Fishy is today....

Hope she's ok.

She wasn't here last evening, either.
I hope she's okay, too.

I'm OK - just been a bit busy and DS has a major paper due this week, so my computer time has been very limited.

:fork:

I know you're laughing Nibbs.

Yes...I am!

:( Et tu?

Things are moving right along! I'll "own" a house in a week!!! Eek!!!

:sohappy: :sohappy:

Hello again - anybody home?

Sorry I missed you earlier Dot - long weekends seem to create an awful lot of Tuesday housework! :(
