Thanks Dottie, MJ has some sort of stomach virus :(

Oh yuck.
Hope she's feeling better soon.

Bonny...quick story.
My daughter Stacey just started working for an organization in Philadelphia called SPIN (Special People in Northeast). She works with autistic children. They work with them at centers located in the city and also work as "wrap-arounds" with the children within the public school system. Yesterday was Stacey's birthday and I finally got some time to talk to her about her new job. She loves it. She told me about a 5 year old (I'll call him John) in one of her sessions. Yesterday, John came up to Stacey and said, very clearly "I would like to say something to Ameer". (Ameer is another little boy in the group.) Stacey quickly ran and got Ameer and brought him over to John. Stacey waited, but John didn't speak to Ameer. Still Stacey was very, very excited. Why? Because those 8 words were the first that John had ever spoken! A complete sentence, spoken very clearly. . .for the first time! John didn't speak again yesterday. Maybe he won't speak again anytime soon. But he certainly made Stacey's birthday very special!

Pretty good. :) Little scare with daycare this morning...

I got a call saying lizzy was screaming in pain and they couldn't figure out what was going on but she was really hurting. They had no clue but she wouldn't stop crying... so I rushed over... she was constipated. I gave her cheese and no apple juice last night... sooooo she was miserable. Bad mommy. But, as soon as I got there and picked her up she relaxed and just cried on my shoulder for about 2 minutes and then... well went. :lookaroun.

Oh poor baby!
Guess you have what it takes to get things going! :lookaroun

Let us know if you need a ride to and from the airport....

We just found out that we got MJ a toy that needs another toy to operate it, so I guess I need to go to Toys R Us... :(

Whe and I are opening her holiday bag right now....

That is awesome! You never lose that feeling of pride either... I just asked MJ if she could say Gaston She said *Salon* (I'll take it!) Everytime she says something new it is a HUGE deal. She will often say it once and then not use it again for months or even years at a time.

I was thinking of a page in Mousetales that was a running list of her accomplishments each day....wonder if anyone would care about something that detailed?

;) So.... aside from that it was a good day! :)

Yes. Car issues. Can't come until December... *SIGH* I'm getting tired of something always getting in the way. I'm ready to plan something and just make it work. :(

But... December I might fly down just to avoid the car issue. So that'll make things easier. :)

Bummer to both. Let me know if you need a ride To and Fro...as to the constipation, we have that issue often, MJ is given meds everyday to help it, but sometimes they just don't work and then they work too well...This is always awful. Last week we were up with her screamin in pain at 3:30 in the morning, it really sucked. We had to give her an enema she was NOT a happy camper. Then later on in the week she got a tummy bug going in that direction, so she has been off her meds for 3 nights, but still total liquid...

Hey everyone. Just relaxing, enjoying ice cream for dinner.:slurp: I'm watching The Santa Clause on Disney. Work was ok. I just remembered a really touching story my friend told me from last night. She was working at the Stitch Dance Party in Tomorrowland and there was this little boy there. He was really shy and timid. Well, she was able to get him to dance with her. Then she got him some candy. Afterwards, the dad came up to her and gave her a hug. He told her that they were there celebrating the little boy's adoption. He had been in an abusive home for 8 years and they were celebrating at Disney. Well of course that story made me cry, and I wasn't even there. I love beautiful stories.

Good Morning everyone! (actually it's good night for me)

So I went to work last night at 9pm and left this morning at 6:30am....that was very much not fun!!! I was told that I would be leaving by 2am but that did not happen. My DH woke up several times last night as was worried because I had not come home yet....I got home this morning to find him eating breakfast. There is a possibility that I may have to go back in sometime tonight. I was asked to come in at 7 tonight, but that was before I was there until the sun came up this morning.

I think I'll head to bed now....Maybe I'll be around sometime this afternoon.:)

Sleep well hun!

Good Morning.

Needing special thoughts and prayers this morning. My DD (oldest) is going in for a glucose test for diabetes. This will be done at 8 this morning. I am a little nervous to find out the results but I do know it would be for the best if she does have diabetes.

((hugs)) Susan. Best to know about things like that for her sake and yours!

I need to go now. Hopefully today I can be here. I miss being here when everyone is here. I have missed some good parties in the last couple of days.
