Good morning everyone. Just checking in from work. It was actually kind of fun. It was kinda crowded out there, but then again, the party was sold out. And before the party, I met up with Bonny and family at MGM. That was fun. We went on the GMR, and the gangster was really cute.

I see the kids at church every week, and at least the youngest still hugs me. Their dad went to Washington last weekend to run in the Marine Corps marathon, but apparently he didn't take the kids. He ran it a few years ago, and we took the kids with us and cheered him on. Apparewntly he didn't want them around either. I'm not sure what his problem is lately, but it's clearly not just me.

I was thinking about that too. I've been lamenting the lack of an income, but actually I spent most of that $$ on the kids anyway (then paid taxes on it), so it's not as much of a financial hardship as I had feared. Hopefully he's spending it on them!

Sounds like it kind of evened out for you, financially.
So maybe you can just enjoy being home for a while.

So I was by the upstairs window looking down at the trick or treaters, when I notice a strange looking costume down by the sidewalk. It was all pink and HUGE... so the kid turned and walked a bit towards the street.... and that's when I notice two strange looking appendages that were flapping around the kid's ankles...

Then it hit me...

There was an 8 or 9 year old walking around the neighborhood in a giant, padded costume that resembles the male anatomy....





Marc answered the door when it rang, and confirmed that, indeed, that's what it was.

But the funny part is the kids at the house next door were perplexed as to what this was... they decided he was dressed up as a donkey. :lol:

I noticed their parents didn't correct them.

The principal said he was canceling because he feared for the safety of the children!!!

Something that really is scary:
Last night's local news profiled a mom who carefully mapped out her kid's trick or treat route to avoid the houses of convicted s-x offenders.

The story did go on to say that persons with those convictions are prohibited from contact with children, which would include handing out candy on Halloween. They were supposed to turn off the lights and not answer the door. But I betcha some of them figured the risk was worth it.

Personally, I think the mom was really savvy to think of that.

Thanks Guys. We took MJ to MGM and DtD yesterday. MJ went as an Autistic child who refused to wear a costume It was okay, but there were lots of people in inappropriate costumes, so we spent a lot of time shielding MJ from things...

Hey Everyone!!

It's been crazy around here. Yesterday I worked from 2pm-midnight, then I had to be back in at 8:30 this morning for a meeting, and I have to go back tonight to work from 9pm-2am

I ended up not falling asleep until sometime after 2 last night, so I am pretty sleepy right now. I don't think I'll be around to much today....I have some dishes and cleaning to do and maybe run to the grocery store and a nap is definetly in my future!

Loved the Halloween pictures of the girls!! So cute!
