Well... hanging is still an option in Washington and New Hampshire (I believe...). As of now, I think the last person to be executed in the US by hanging was in 1996.

Yes, you're right.
The death penalty is kind of creepy to me, but at least lethal injection is somewhat humane.
Everything else is pretty brutal, but maybe the punishment should fit the crime. . .I don't know.
