Love it! :sohappy:

Indeed. 7:30 is brutal going in in the morning, but the good thing is I don't have to deal w/ rush hour on the subway. And in the nasty summer heat, it's a little cooler that early in the morning so my hair stands at least a miniscule chance of making it :lookaroun

in 30 minutes I will have been here for 12 hours. and my miniscule hair has no chance of making it.

At the Wyland Galleries there are these bronze frogs that are made by an English chap named Tim and MJ has fallen head over heels in love with them, we have to go visit them and the singer Kaleo a couple times a month to visit. A couple weeks ago a CM who fell for MJ told us that he would be in signing autographs and such on January 12 and would we please come back she watned to introduce us to Tim.

Jan 12th arrives and we toddle off to the Poly. We get there and find her (turns out that she came in on her day off to make this introduction. Tim loved MJ (pictures soon) He was amazing and so generous, he gave her a calendar (signed with a drawing of her in her wheelchair with her Frog Balloon (also from him)), the frog balloon (we'll put it on her wall after it deflates), a copy of his coffee table book (gorgeous and full color) and a Frogman Polo shirt and then the MOST amazing thing happend, a guest who was there and talking with MJ brought over the 5 mini frogs that Tim makes and asked her which one she liked best and bought it for her (it was Storm, a little violet frog) This was particularly amazing because the mini frogs cost 1005.00 bucks. MJ loves it hand hasn't let go of it yet :) Heather (the gal that got MJ the frog) has 43 of Tim's sculptures (none signed) and when he does a show in Houston in the next couple of months he is going to go over to her house and sign all her pieces since she was so generous to MJ.

There ya go...a few amazing stories for you.

Speechless....gives me hope for our society that there are still such selfless, generous people out there. :o Thanks for sharing these stories w/ us, Bonny.

In all the time truthiness has been in your sig, I have never known the meaning. I just assumed it was misspoken by someone and just caught on. I love the meaning though. That "from the gut" belief in something. Yes, I like that!
You know it's an idea of satire, right? :lookaroun

It just happens to be tat my gut feelings are always right. :lookaroun

I'll have to remember that one, and I share you quest for language!

:) Words are my thing, I prefer nice ones.....

They are so good to her, aren't they? Disney CM's are just, simply amazing. :o

They really are, I thought that the more they got to know her, the less they would do for her, but the opposite seems to be true.

Don't be scared!

And you better get over it soon because I believe you are meeting some of MJ Thread's finest in a week.

And I can't wait to meet you one day!

That is amazing! Shows you the magic of Disney

Rolling on the Floor laughing my Mickey ears off. It's a Bonny expression. :D

Not me and MJ though, we couldn't make our schedules mesh, we'll have to try it again later in the year....
