Just want to ask who watched the Oprah show with the boys on it. I did, and I actually got emotional (and I don't cry during tv/movies). However, in our newspapers there was a debate whether or not it was right to bring them (or technically the one, since the other didn't come on) on the show after what they went through.
I watched it and cried too Joanna. I'm sure Oprah rushed to get first dibs on the interviews, but I thought it was very well done, all in all.

Yeah, but I kind of agree with the newspaper. I think it was too soon to bring them on tv and have them remember what they just went through. They should have given him more time.

Peeking back in for a quick hello

Also, just got this email and thought I'd pass it along...hopefully none of us EVER needs to use it but I'd never heard it before:

If you should ever be forced by a robber to withdraw money from an ATM
machine, you can notify the police by entering your Pin # in reverse.

For example, if your pin number is 1234, then you would put in 4321. The
ATM recognizes that your pin number is backwards from the ATM card you
placed in the machine.

The machine will still give you the money you requested, but unknown to the
robber, the police will be immediately dispatched to help you.

This information was recently broadcasted on TV, and it states that it is
seldom used because people don't know it exists.

I watched it. And thought it was well done and not too intrusive, but still . . .
If that were my son, he wouldn't be on that or any other TV show. It's too soon.

Is it going to be a problem with me staying with you?

No, it's just something we need to work through. It makes her sad, but the alternative is to not have people in our lives and that isn't a good option at all. We want you to come and we also want her to learn that although you do leave, you will come back. She is just starting to get that with Nana and now it isn't as bad when she leaves. (It took nearly a year though)

I had that e-mailed to me a couple of weeks ago too - I wonder if it's really true....
