Frankly, I'm glad this trip's over. I really only enjoyed myself a few days. I was actually thinking on Tuesday how this was a waste of my precious vacation days at work. That's how bad it was - you know it's awful when you're wishing you were at work!

That is bad. This is why I don't think I would ever go on Vacation with my inlaws.

Plus his brother can really rub me the wrong way sometimes, and his Mom got y that I'm not naming the kid Marc if it's a boy - thus destroying 1000+ years of family tradition.

Even Marc admitted that we need another vacation, and that this wasn't terribly relaxing.

It's tough to ask to break off from the family when they paid for your room... They kinda hold it over you.

But thankfully they only do trips like this every other year.. so we're in the clear for a while.

Have to go pick up Abby early from school today, as she and I have dental appointments. Then we have to dash home, fix supper, and Abby has tap class, so I'll check in every once and awhile. Bye for now! :wave:

true...you can't exactly complain when they pay.

And it's good that you only have to do this once every other year...but that almost seems too much! :lol:

I think what I missed most was my independance. Instead of walking at my own speed, I had to either hurry up or wait up. My opinion suddenly dropped in importance, because we had 8 people to worry about. Nobody knew what they wanted to do...

I had already resigned myself to not getting to do what I wanted this trip... but even that preperation wasn't enough.

Bye Jenny - I have to go pick up DS today too - usually he comes home with DH, but today DH has afternoon meetings....
I'll be back in 1/2 hour or so....
