I'm sure you are! we're all insanely jealous, but we weren't on the same property with them. I'd have been totally freaking out!
At least you got to spend time with Bonny though - I guess the others' schedules didn't work out for that.
It was an autistic day, she is having a lot of those lately....

MJ is asleep, the tests were traumatic, we tried to knock her out for them, but it didn't work
so she screamed through the whole thing. Not sure when we'll know anything...The car looks bad, really bad....my FIL is talking to the mechanic now....

Frankly, I'm glad this trip's over. I really only enjoyed myself a few days. I was actually thinking on Tuesday how this was a waste of my precious vacation days at work. That's how bad it was - you know it's awful when you're wishing you were at work!

You're the mom, and you know best. But honestly she wasn't that bad. My nephew had a few meltdowns that were worse last week.
And why in my right mind would I tell you my dream! It was horrible, and I didn't want you to think about it. It's just a dream. No worries.
Poor baby with the tests... and poor car. Does this mean a new one?

Oh, Bonny, I'm sorry about the testing. Why couldn't she be sedated for it?

I cannot change my avatar, I did the right-click thing and saved it, but I just got the internet symbol too. Sooo....I'm daring to be different and am keeping my avatar (sounds better than admitting I'm too stupid to fix it! :lol: )
BTW, Bonny, did you see The View today? They devoted the whole hour to autism. Toni Braxton was guest host; she just discovered last fall her 3 1/2 year old son is on the spectrum. I usually don't watch this show (can't stand Rosie), but I taped this one.

Well, it IS his family, so it wasn't nearly as bad for him as it was for me. I'm just not used to giving up my independance. 2 hours of "what do you want to do today?" every day really got old. Plus his brother can really rub me the wrong way sometimes, and his Mom got y that I'm not naming the kid Marc if it's a boy - thus destroying 1000+ years of family tradition.
Even Marc admitted that we need another vacation, and that this wasn't terribly relaxing.

How close do the in-laws live to you? My SIL is having issues with her MIL right now, because they live so far apart all of the soon to be grandparents arrived the day before the baby was due. The MIL has a lot of "lovely ideas" about how the new baby should be taken care of. Luckily for my SIL she leaves tonight and who knows when she will see her again.
