We were pretty much done.....until you had to bring it up again!

Jess, I can't even begin to describe how much fun it is. I have the hardest time keeping a straight face at some of the things she says. I came home the other day and had to get on to her for giving her mother such a hard time. So I go into her room and I say, " mommy tells me you weren't being nice in the other room and she says, "well, I am being nice in this room."

Oh I wouldn't be able to take it. That would break me! :lol:

I know what you mean about keeping a straight face... During christmas, I'd be standing just out of her sight, and Liz would walk up to our christmas tree.. look around to see if I was watching - then grab a glass ornament... throw it on our hard wood floors... and take off running into her room and hide in the closet giggling. She thought it was a big game... If you'd have seen the serious look on her face when she did it... and then she'd put her hands over her face and giggle like crazy... She must have done that 3x's and every time I'd have to take a minute to compose myself before I could even look at her. :lol:

Well, it's not a story about my own children (since I don't have any)...but when I nannied for the little twin girls, one day (they were 3) they were in the bathroom being awfully quiet. I walked in and they were standing over the toilet which contained about 6 pennies! In my very stern Poppins voice I said "Girls! We do not throw things in the toilet!" To which one responded "We were making wishes." I said "No, no you don't make wishes in the toilet." Without missing a beat, the other says "But we were wishing for something really nice for you!" Even as I fished the pennies out, I couldn't be mad :lol:
