OT: So today I went to pay my car taxes and renew my tags... (which I forgot to do in December...) And as I was pulling into the public safety office I got pulled over. *rollseyes* So... I had to smile my way out of a ticket... This was actually the nicest officer I've ever encountered. I showed him all my paperwork that I'd already filled out and had ready to go, so he just wrote me a warning...

Am I the only one that has squirmy insides when I'm around cops? For some reason - though I know they're there to serve and protect, I always feel like I'm doing something wrong.
Oops!

And no, you aren't the only one who gets squirmy...I do too. For some unknown reason. They just make me uncomfortable.

I know exactly what you mean! I am such a goody, goody, don't want to be in trouble kind of girl.....everytime I see a cop I get nervous :lookaroun

So you have awhile before all the fun starts! I suppose she won't be allowed to date until she is about 30?:animwink:

   awwww man I can't wait! This whole turning into a little person thing is awesome!

EDIT: that sounded a little hippie-on-something-ish.... what I mean is she's always been this little person i took care of but she didn't give much back... and now all the hugs and smiles and kisses... I can't wait until she can actually talk and carry on a conversation.... lol so fun!

gotcha...so I wouldn't panic yet. You could still try the test though. They say they can tell 6 days before your first missed day...if you get the right one.

However, this is why I try to be religious with my pills!

I try to be good...I really do....but I just happend to be really really bad this month!

They make me squirmy too. But in my case it's because I used to date a cop...bad cop, not good cop :lookaroun

LOL you know you read it. Curiosity kills everyone.

Something tells me Rick enjoys playing the part of the "average" guy... but I have yet to meet a husband whose truly uncomfortable about the subject of "monsoons" Most proudly wear the badge of honor and trapse walmart at rush our picking up tampons and such. ;)

Bye Dot!

I am quite comfortable discussing it with my wife, and I have made several trips to CVS (see previous). Discussing it with other women.......that's different. And it was fun playing the part, thanks for enjoyment

I don't know if you saw in the old thread, but I went in search of the Lizzy pictures that everyone was talking about.....the pictures with the pink bow (like the one in your avatar :D ) make her look like such a little girl and not so much like a baby....she is such a cutie!

True... sorry if we make you uncomfortable. :o We tend to be open and honest... to a fault sometimes. lol

Thanks Chris! she is a ham that's for sure. ;) I can't believe she's such a big girl... she doesn't have much baby left in her... until it comes time for bed and then she's all baby again... lays on my shoulder during our prayers and then cuddles with her blankie and dolly... (whom she's dubbed "doyle" b/c she can't say dolly... which is rather embarassing when she shouts out in a store... "DOYLE!" every time she sees a doll )

I have never asked Jay to do that for me.....I wonder what he would think? I would be worried that he would come back with the wrong thing.....so many varieties out there, he may come back with one of everything just to make sure that he got the right one

Sometimes I forget that there are men around :o

That's not embarassing....it's so cute! I occasionally get called Sissy by my cousins/sister (not so much my brother...he's to cool for that  )....when they were little Chrissy was entirely to hard but Sissy was much easier!

 I sent mine with specific instructions (and the empty box) :lookaroun he did end up getting 3 different one's of the same name brand - for the life of him the only thing he could tell different about them was the color of the box.

Jess, I can't even begin to describe how much fun it is. I have the hardest time keeping a straight face at some of the things she says. I came home the other day and had to get on to her for giving her mother such a hard time. So I go into her room and I say, " mommy tells me you weren't being nice in the other room and she says, "well, I am being nice in this room."

Just feeling a bit like being invisible. :)
Hm...
The site is very good.
But "truth as defined by consensus". . .interesting concept.
Colbert is a genius.
Nope not yet.

Rick you may want to just skip right on by the rest of this post :D

I have had a lot of strange symptoms the past couple of weeks. DH says there is no way that I would feel any pregnancy symptoms this early, but I'm not convinced (I was really bad about my pills this month). I am thinking that it's either an uh-oh or I screwed up my pills so badly this month that I'm actually having a normal cycle (crampy and breakouts and all the other things that come with it  ) If the monsoon is a no show early next week then I'll be off to p** on a stick!

Now the boys are free to start reading again!:D (I even made an attempt to hide it from you)
i think that's enough menstrual cycle talk for one night.

"Smile" your way out of a ticket?
Sure... I know how you really operate...

That is to cute! I wouldn't be able to keep a straight face! Does she know how cute she is and use it to her advantage?

Oh my gosh I would have died.

I know what you mean about keeping a straight face... During christmas, I'd be standing just out of her sight, and Liz would walk up to our christmas tree.. look around to see if I was watching - then grab a glass ornament... throw it on our hard wood floors... and take off running into her room and hide in the closet giggling. She thought it was a big game... If you'd have seen the serious look on her face when she did it... and then she'd put her hands over her face and giggle like crazy... She must have done that 3x's and every time I'd have to take a minute to compose myself before I could even look at her.
