They were a mystery to me too until my brother got one. What you do is you download music on your computer...then transfer it to your ipod and then you can either listen to it freestanding or you can plug it into a ciggarette lighter in your car and listen to it that way through the speakers.

I know it's easy enough, but sometimes too much choice is a bit overwhelming to me, if that makes any sense.
Deciding what I want to download would be my biggest problem.

My cell phone supposively plays music, but I haven't mastered that yet!

In our complex, George, who knows everything about computers, is pretty much the complex "computer guy". He helps people select computers, set them up, install software and fixes problems. After that, if anyone is in need of it, I'm available to teach surfing the internet and MicroSoft Word. These are mostly elderly people who just need the basics. It's a pretty good little business and we get paid well for it. But, as an offshoot of this, anytime anyone gets any new electronic product, they call us to help them learn how to work it. We do this at no charge - George handles anything related to TV. DVDs, new cable boxes, remotes. . .etc. I get answering machines and cell phones. Oy! Every cell phone is different. Trying to figure some of them out can be quite a chore! But people are appreciative, so I do it. :)

Oh...you can have thousands of songs on an ipod...so really, you don't have to be picky.

Dave is our local tech specialist, but here at home, I pretty much have to fend for myself.

Memo :
Dot is wondering how Connor is today.

Samantha Brown's "Great Hotels" is over... I couldn't find anything to watch on tv... so now I'm watching "Timon And Pumbaa."

That's about all right now. :lookaroun
