But there is a distinct midwestern accent. Occasionally saying "bayg" instead of "bag" or "warsh" instead of "wash".


Or 'crick' when you mean creek...although you can see a difference in accent even between northern and southern Ohio. My DH and I tease each other over that one...he says creek, I say crick.

When my sister went to school in North Carolina, she quickly started talkig with a southern accent.

I hope the midwestern one isn't as contagious :lookaroun
