Yes.
The Disney Ambassadors.
Fishy came up with the idea.
I will be president and collect the money.
We still have to work out the rest.
I will be the Royal Treasurer.
So we have our royal president, and our royal treasurer..

Ummmm can i be the Royal Bank? :lookaroun

OT When is Jess supposed to be in the audiance of Wheel of Forturne?

February 8th. :D Are y'all ready to see a stahhhhr?

with a pregant wife and a 3 year old????/

I know what you mean, she is really coming around.. in fact on my pda it says that I should be in WDW but we just couldn't go because of work and other things, she was really down that we couldn't go, she's coming around.

Um yes. ESPECIALLY with a pregnant wife and 3 y/o. ;) Book Kid's Night Out a few times... book your wife a prental massage. (aaaamazing) And then make PS at a couple of nice restaurants for about 8pm - get the sitter around 7 - Kayden will have a blast, but she'll be in bed after just a short while... and in the mean time you and your wifey can go enjoy a wonderful dinner. :) We're actually trying to schedule an end of the month trip - and we've already said instead of leaving Lizzy at home (which would be hard - though completely ok) We decided to bring her along again, but book Kid's Night Out a minimum of 3 times... since we always go out after her bed time... she'll never even know we're gone! :sohappy: I think y'all should definately go though! :)

WAIT A MINUTE FLOW!!!!!

That could work, a weekend getaway, just the 2 of us... is it wrong to leave Kayden at home with parents?

Nope it's not wrong - if y'all can... do it.

Jess even though I knew your story...you said it rather nicely...makes me think ...

Thank you love. Time has a way of proving all.

Random. . .
Luke points to gorilla:

Luke... you are such a cutie! :D

I mean of course I had a life.
And I was happy.
But it's never been so . . .comfortable.
I feel unconditionally accepted here.
You don't get that everyday in the real world.

Nope we don't... and it's funny - by the time we meet each other, we've known one another for so long that it's practically like meeting up with family... so then even the real world meet's are full of unconditional acceptance. I loved that!

There was a time when 4am would be just about be time for getting to bed...

Wow... I remember those days... funny how you just survive and do it... and yet if i tried that right now - i'd probably pass out by midnight.

I just read Good Morning Vietnam on the other thread about Do You like your generations music.

Hello Jess. How was your night and now your morning?

eerie... I hadn't seen that...

My night was long - for some reason I had a stuffy nose and couldn't sleep all night... so I took some benedryl this morning... and now I'm sleepy. Kiddo's in full swing already though...

How're you and the girls?

Hi Jess and Susan! It's 6 degrees here this morning :(

:( Stink.

You're welcome to take a drive down the coast and come bunk here for a few days Jenny... we have a high of 60 today... not terribly warm, but at least it's not frigid. :(

oooh oooh oooh! I forgot to tell y'all! My little brother's graduation party is today...

We never thought this day would come... you know how some kids just don't get school? I mean, they try hard, they get tutors, they're extrememly bright... but school just escapes them? That's my brother. We've (mostly my mama) been working soooo hard to get him through to graduation- and we found out back at the begining of the year that he only had a couple more classes to go before he could graduate - so he took block classes (one semester long) so he could be out by December... and he made it! :sohappy:

So today we're having his graduation party. I'm so happy for him. He tries not to make a big deal out of anything - but he was all grins the day he brought home the letter saying he'd FINALLY passed everything and could graduate. :sohappy: He may not have honors anything... he certainly never made dean's list... but the kid finally graduated. I'm so proud of him!!!!

ooook... end rant. ;)

Dave's niece had a similar situation. Problems started in high school, which resulted in eventually her attending an alternative high school, then on to college. It took her a little over 7 years, but she finally graduated last year with a BA in Psychology.

That's not a rant - that's an awesome story! Congrats to your little brother! As Joel gets ready to move into the school system full time   (deep breath....I'm OK), I know every milestone he passes will get HUGE celebrations in our house. Abby gets straight A's almost without trying, but at age 9 she is an amazing writer...I look forward to seeing what she can do with that.
Proud mama rant over :D

Jamie's problems started when he was 3 years old and never quit his entire school life. He had ADD and was on Ridalin (sp?) for years... he got so used to teachers just taking an "I give up - this kid is hopeless" attitude. It used to make me so angry, he's really quiet and has always had kind of a punk rocker look throughout high school. He's ridiculously tall and just as skinny... so he pulled the look off well... but he's sooooo quiet, people always think he's up to something. He's such a great kid though - stubborn in his quiet way... but a really amazing person to be around. He's super shy though... I doubt he'll make it very far in college (he's going to Southeastern in FL) he has no study skills whatsoever. Every time he studies, someone has to be over his shoulder making sure he pays attention. It'll be interesting to see how that plays out in college.

Would he do better with an online program?

So I'm trying to make plans to get some of our group up to Lake Mary while we're in Florida to assist displaced people there. Right now it's hard to find out who to contact, but I'm making progress.

Probably... but maybe not, his biggest problem is focusing. I think he'd be pretty distracted online. But who knows? Hopefully he'll just test out alot of different methods in college and figure out which works best for him.
