It's been that way for years with me... i had hoped that by the time I was going to have a kid, a boy's name would magically appear.... it didn't.

bye Dana!

You'll never find me waiting till midnight these days :snore: :snore:
Yeah...I hope that about a boys name too...I think I'm gonna be up a creek.

And poor Bunny...can't stay up late. I'm never in bed early. Never.

It's a star. There's a lot of cool star names. Not many of which I would name my kid, though

Rigel
Betelgeuse
Saiph
Castor
Pollux
Procyon
Aldebaren
Polaris
Alpha Centauri

Then there are star names that JK Rowling used in HP:

Regulus
Bellatrix (which is Orion's left shoulder)
Sirius (the brightest star in the sky, other than the sun)

Hmmmm. . .
I like Star for a girl! :) :lookaroun

Yeah...what is with that?
Sorry to say this about my own gender, but boy names suck!
Girl names are soooooo much better.
I love the name Kate. Or Katie.
Also Yvonne and Esther.

j/k on the latter two

I'm the other way around. I can't think of any girl names that wow me.

I REALLY REALLY like my first and middle names together.

Luke Morgan.

They're both names you don't see around very much.

Now you sound braggy.
That was Jess' job.

Right. Dot does somewhat remind me of Pooh...:lookaroun

Thank God you were kidding on Ester.

And boy names are awful. No clue why. I know I don't want something that every one else and their brother has though.

You don't like Rigel?! I think it comes off the tongue so beautifully. And it's spelled cool. And it's five letters long. Maybe I'm just a word nerd  :lookaroun

If you look up at Orion, it's the foot on the right. Orion's left.
I am a definite word nerd, but somehow Rigel isn't one of my favorites.

I do happen to love the word haberdasher.
I think it is an amazing word.
If you look, each of thesentences in my post have started with the letter I.
Interesting.

Want a cookie?
Yes.
Cookies for everyone!
(Almond chocolate chip)
Ew.
Oh but he will when "naughty mat ache" starts settling in.
It's the ulcers you have to watch out for.
You know..one day this lady in a restaurant sneezed..and I said God Bless you..and she looked at me and said....Im an atheist....and I said... well thats why I asked God to bless you....:)
She acted rudely.
You weren't that different.
I have no clue. :o LOL I've only seen The Incredible's once...
EDNA.
I'm preordering HP7 today! Wooooo!
Why? The preorder-ers get theirs later because of shipping.
I just want it so baaaaaaad.
Then why not go to BJ's, WalMart, Acme, Borders, B&N, Walden Books, etc?

Different names for different people.

Boy names are atrocious.
You have the same freaking names over and over and over.
How many Jims, Jacks, Joes, Mikes, Pauls, Georges, etc. do we need?

exactly Freddy. Everybody uses the same few names, over and over. There's no variety for boys. Well, they are starting to have variety now...but it's still really hard to find good variety.
