Just looked at the picts sean posted. Looks great so far..

but since the monorail pilot is telling everything. there just teasin them and they want them to come back sooner. But As Long I know its openin sometime in 2003.. most likely in spring. They have to finish the inside first and detail it really good. So its Impossible to open up earlier next year.

we'll have to wait and see what happens.

Awesome news, I've been waiting 3 weeks for that damn wall to come down, I was going to Epcot almost every other day, and now that I haven't been in 7 days they take it down, well I'll check it out tonite, awesome news!!!

Spotted the first Hidden Mickey! It's on the Mercury looking thing with the colony pods that are silver or gold or something like that. It's above a few places by a cluster of three. The hidden Mickey is 3 craters! GO ME! GO ME! No one can steal this from me! I was the first to post it! YEAH! - The WeirdOne

WeirdOne - First to spot a Hidden Mickey on Mission:Space and post about it and found his first hidden Mickey on 11/15/02 (when I spotted it).

Wow! I'm looking forward to seeing it in January. It's great to see such an effort put into the architecture and exterior. It's been a while since they've done something so spectacular. Let's hope this is a trend and the ride lives up to the exterior!:sohappy: :sohappy:

Let me just say that Imagineering did a teriffic job on the Planetary Plaza. I absolutley love it! The logo is out of sight and once the Earth starts to spin, it'll look even better. Im so glad they finally took down that ugly wall. It was such an eyesore. Climbing up onto that hill just to take a peek. It better to walk up to a 4 foot wall then a 8 foot wall that only Shaq can look beyond.
