This is a rumor-

Move It Shake It Celebrate It will be changed out to a new show. It will be changed to something along the lines of "Sing It". Expect the floats to change and for the VIPs to move up to the top of the floats. Guests will vote on the songs they want the characters to sing and then those songs will be performed in show.

While I know MiSiCi has been around for since early 2009 and that many think that it is time for a change -- I know there will be a few park regulars (my daughter and myself included) who will be sad to see it go.



These girls (mine is the little one in red) are there every Sunday morning for the first street party in homemade costumes and with their own props just to dance in MiSiCi. We have made so many friends because of this show (cast members and other locals whom we see often) that when it changes (and we all realize that eventually it will) we will be there to bid it farewell with tears in our eyes. So I would love to be kept up to date on if this rumor is true and when the last day for MiSiCi will be.

I dont get it, "sing it"? it sounds like something for DHS not MK. :shrug: Hopefully this is not the new parade that is rumored to be announced at D23?

At the risk of being flammed I'm ok with MiSiCi! I like the energy it adds to the MK during the day and I enjoy it more than the 3 'o clock parade. And a lot of people do pause and watch it... so it is eating up guests even if just for a few minutes.

Picking a song sounds very odd! Curious...

Time for this to just rethemed (or totally reimagineered)

and a BRAND NEW PARADE, its had a 10year run (well, most of them except for the dude that has been parading 25years; the mirror castle)

First off, this is adorable!! I LOVE it. I too will be EXTREMELY sad to see it go. It's one of my favorite reasons to go to MK. I would go pretty much every other day to see it while I was on my program. Always said I'd have a happy day in MK if I could eat a Dole Whip, dance to this and watch Wishes. All I need. I really hope this rumor is just a rumor. I know it has to go sometime but just NOT now. =(

... Seriously...add me in the boat of people that actually like MiSiCi and would be very disapointed to see it go. We've had Dream Along With Mickey for almost five years, and the Dream Come True Parade for almost ten years...why don't we get rid of those first and keep the entertainment option that seems to work.

Yes something for the 40th would have been a nice retheme for this, since a brand new main parade doesnt start till 2012 apparently. Oh well, I just hope whatever the retheme is the annoying DJ is gone.

I would be very upset to see this street party go. It's actually one of my favorite things to see at WDW! It brings me so much happiness!

I would also be sad to see it go. It was always fun to see Main Street so alive, and to see people just having a really good time dancing in the streets.
