OLC will be holding its Shareholders meeting on June 29, its usually Q&A and corporate stuff.
But It will be interesting of they announce something for TDR since its a thursday.

More upcharges coming. This summer a "priority pass" will be sold for a limited time which includes priority line access for a certain number of attractions.

I'm surprised Tokyo hasn't done premier pass ultimate yet. I wonder if it will come into fruition during the opening of Fantasy Springs. Below are the new "fastpasses" that will be available. I'm glad to hear that at least it is free.

DisneySea got the short end of the stick though, not sure why. Disneyland has quite a few E ticket attractions on the list of fastpasses, while DisneySea only has one.

Update: Apparently I totally misunderstood this and it's actually a free addon to all tickets this summer? I thought it was a separate upcharged ticket but the other site is saying it's actually free.

Again they are a business, not some fairytale magical land that poof hand it you for free.
Eitherway if it makes them money, you will be seeing more upcharged services if it benefits your vacation. Its not liked you're being forced to buy this or buy that.
Just to put it simply if youre a person far away and doesn't have time to queue for 3 hours for BATB, You would buy a premier access.
Or buy a seat at parades so you dont have to wait or sit for hours just to get a spot. The service provides you better experience, and people doesn't see the positives.

Ticket prices going up, prices will hit 10,000 yen for the first time based on variable pricing. This is a 45% increase since COVID.

Let me add that this is just added price tier not an increase across the board, Its to control crowds during peak season.
Sadly, We still haven't had any improvement in entertainment and no annual pass.

I've been seeing a huge influx of Tokyo Disney questions on other sites, namely most of them about Disney resorts. I kinda scratch my head when people book a Tokyo Disney hotel. At least from most of the advice I've seen before I went, a lot of people just recommend the good neighbor hotels and I have to agree. To each their own I suppose, but the mark up seems to be quite significant lately.
Not sure about how true it is, but apparently some people say that Hilton/Sheraton have better English support because they are international hotel chains. Last time I went, I only used Japanese so I'm not really sure if I can confirm it.

Some people are just preconditioned to automatically trying to book the Disney resort, and I genuinely believe that it hasn't occured to some people that you can still visit/enjoy most of what a hotel offers without staying there. I suppose I can understand the desire to splurge on a good view room at MiraCosta, but otherwise? I don't feel it's worth booking a TDR resort. Particularly since the Sheraton/Hilton/etc are also basically on the monorail and if you time it right, you can get them for a VERY good price, all things considered.
I've stayed at both the Sheraton and the Hilton, and both were great. And since we were Hilton Honors members, at that time we got a HUGE breakfast buffet every morning for free. Try getting THAT at a TDR hotel.

I agree the Sheraton and Hilton are both great hotels and much cheaper and easier to book than a Disney resort. Each one has themed rooms you can book which are better than WDW does and the monorail means its as easy to get to the parks from there as it is from the disney resorts. There is even a cheaper hotel at the railway station for budget travel
My preference is the Sheraton, especially the ocean cruise ship rooms but I had a fun stay at the Hilton in a happy magic room

For me, when staying at a Disney resort I just personally enjoy and prefer staying at a Disney hotel. Nothing against the Sheraton/Hilton, I've done the Hilton Tokyo Bay before.
Was at DisneySea today (Sep 1st). Seemed much quieter than it did end of June. New “fast passes” worked well, but seemed to go fairly quickly! We used for Nemo, Aquatopia, Raging Spirits x2 and also for Magic Lamp/20k Leagues (not needed). Longest wait was 50 mins for TSMM at start of day (we did premier for Soarin). Journey we did twice waiting 40 and then later 15. Indy we did SR once and then 15 mins later in day. TOT 15 mins. Walked onto Carousel/Sinbad/Carpets. A great day to be at the park.
I think it’s been discussed before, but Fantasy Springs will completely change the dynamic of the park. I can see Journey/Tower coming off premier access but the three major new rides going onto it.
Wish they would reopen the Mermaid theatre and have some better entertainment options (did Big Band Beat last time and was not a fan)

What is the current state of entertainment at the resort? Are full parades back with dancers? Stage shows and ambiance performers?

That's discouraging. There's a part of me that would love to do TDR next summer when (theoretically) the never-ending construction of Frozen Port/Princess Port/Fantasy Springs is finished, but it'd be nice to have something resembling a full entertainment slate (2019 already felt like a downgrade from 2010 in this area generally, especially going from Mythica to Tanabata Greeting). And multiday tickets.
