Mirror Mirror On the Castle.....

I don't mean to seem critical, but to me it looks too big proportionally.
Maybe it'll look better to me when I see it in person.

Thank you so much for the pictures!! I think the castle looks beautiful! I can't wait until my next trip (haven't been in 5 years) to see it in person with it's new decorations! Reminds me of my first trip to MK...except..the castle was a big and bubbly pink cake :dazzle:

I think I have to agree. It is much bigger than I thought it would be. It kind of makes the castle look small.

It still is a great touch, and is 10 times better than the birthday cake castle.

Thank you for sharing the pictures. They came out very nice. I love the ornamentation on the spires.

I know im gonna get some flack for this, but I think putting the mirror on the castle seems to draw errie parralels to the wand being put on SSE.

Now I'm gonna retreat back into my bunker. :D

Hm.. I'm not entirely sure what to think about that icon window. I'm pretty sure I don't like it. Its too...large.

It kinda detracts from the golden appearance of Cinderella Castle. It was all good until then... >:X

I too tend to agree

Whilst it should be large to be visable - I just think its too overpowering.

But as I wont get there to see it - not gonna kill me ;)

heheh

shame they didnt use moving images on a concert style screen. That could have worked well with fireworks, shows, and just general castle "wows"

But would have increased the weight and cost probably

I still think that would have been to bright and would have looked out of place.

Thanks for the pics!!! I'm jealous, I only got to see it laying on a flatbed yesterday (not quite the same). It sure looks a lot better hanging on the castle. I knew I should have waited until the weekend to head over and visit.

Yeah, it's the same technology used on highway billboards!

Rotating "panels."

I thought it would be full video.

Oh well. I will reserve judgment until (if) I get to WDW anytime soon...

I agree. I was digging the gold sparklies, and the concept art makes the mirror look really cool (which is what concept art is supposed to do...) but now that the mirror is there it looks tacky. And throws the proportions off. I hope it really does look better in person.

I agree also, it is way too big. I think they went too far. The gold accents were nice but now this is getting out of hand. Way better than the cake but still don't care for it.

I'm not knocking the photos by the way. Thank-you very much for posting. I just don't like how this is turning out.
