Minnie was groped by a 59-year-old man at the Magic Kingdom on June 7th. Video from the court room was released yesterday. (Sorry if this has been posted. I searched and didn't find anything on it.)

I can't believe some guests do this to characters. Just listen to the poor woman's testimony in the video.

I hope she would not have been fired if she caleed for help. I understand character integrity but if she was in trouble she should be able to say help.

Disney Cast Members do everything to protect the Magic and Show. I'm sure she felt trapped either way and she couldn't do anything. :( They have hand signals if they need help but it's possible the character attendant was looking away at the moment.

I've seen teens tackle Jimminy Cricket at the F&G festival a couple of years ago. You really don't know who is in those costumes. Some are even older little women. A lot of guests think they will just go along with it but in reality it's hurting them.

I heard this on the radio this am coming into work. The news person said that Mickey & Donald were with her and they tried to help defend her.

But this upsets me the ignorance of folks that go around thinking it is funny to do disrespectful things to others. Then in a family enviroment, how many childern saw this happen.

Yes this happens! It happens more than you think. Guests think it is so hilarious to assault a character. I won't put up with this and if I see it happen I will stand up for the character and if need be call Orange Co. and security.

The incident took place in Toontown at Judge's tent. Mickey would have been present but not Donald.

Where is the character's handler? Shouldn't the handler have interceded right away?

It is very busy and crowded inside the meet and greet area in Judge's tent. There are many reasons why the character attendant wouldn't see what was going on. The photopass photographer or members of the accused family may have been blocking the view or the attendant may have been dealing with issues with guests waiting in line.

Someone was paying attention because they caught the guy.

A jury this morning found John William Moyer guilty of groping of a woman playing Minnie Mouse at Walt Disney World.

Moyer, 60, of Pennsylvania, was convicted of misdemeanor battery for the June incident this morning.

The victim, Brittney Duncan McGoldrick, told prosecutors at the Orange County Courthouse on Monday she had pushed Moyer away from her.

"My first reaction I just pushed him down. I was doing everything I could to get his hands off my ," Duncan McGoldrick said.

Jurors began their deliberations Monday afternoon.

"We're just hoping for the only fair and just verdict in this case, which is 'not guilty'," said Zahra S. Umansky, Moyer's attorney.

Moyer had been booked into Orange County Jail on June 7 and was released on $1,000 bail.
