I know when I saw the pictures I thought hey that is the girl ThimbleKisses(sp)? from on here. I miss their updates as well. I always liked the updates from them.

I hope they open El Pirate e El Perico Restaurante (sp?) to a full service now that Adventurland will be even more crowded.

I think HM can still wait a while. Then need to work on Space Mountain and the TTA.

Haven't eaten there for several years. It would be nice to add another table service eatery.

I love all those rides, but I agree HM can wait for other rehabs.(or complete replacements..ie...SGE? )

Those are some neat pictures; I don't think I have ever seen Adventureland so packed before!!! Is the "pirate training" show going to continue to be done everyday or was it just during the re-opening day?

Looks like 20 minute lines for POTC is a thing of the past. Is Jack going to be appearing in the park in September?

After seeing pics of those lines, you don't even know how nice it was to walk onto POTC on Monday! Got to love those soft openings!

Yea, we walked onto POTC late on July 4th so the lines didnt bother me. This morning I rode it with about a 10 min wait around 11am. The crowds overall were very small. Up till lunch time wait times were less than 15 min for everything but Indyspeedway and Space Mountain. After lunch crowds grew fast. The Pirate Training is said to last till August, or at least thats what I heard.

If you are referring to the guy sitting on the ground hes from either fox or ch 6, a local tv station. They were covering the opening of Pirates

Mitch English from 'The Daily Buzz' (WB) was there on friday covering the opening before park opened...I thought that "Jack" was very good, they also showed a small clip of the animatronic one...he looked pretty good too, almost thought it was a real person looking around. Watching this on tv really makes me want to go back.
