Spidey...I just have a question for you...

Where do your "webs" go after you are done with them?

I'm watching the movie and I see him swinging on webs and stuff...but where do they go when he's done with them??? Sheesh...seems like he's just a big city polluter :(

:lookaroun (now how's that for mindless?)

Poor Freak, I've told you about this before.

In the Comics they are a compound that has a short half life, therefore they degrade after a few hours... the cops have to be able to get to the theives eventaully.

In the movie the webs are organic, and I suppose they just bio-degrade after so long. The movie did not put as much thought into it as the comics do.

Is that why, in the movie, they almost let go from the bridge or was that because of the weight?

(And...I wouldn't have wanted to be in that helicopter strung up between the WTC Towers if this is the case (talking about the original trailer))

I never saw the original trailer. Know anywhere to see it?

In the comics Spidey can vary his webbing from anything between Wide Spread and sticky, to extremly narrow and basically only sticky at the point of contact. Later he even invented Impact Webbing that shoot out as a little ball to fit through tight areas and then explode into a Webbing mess on contact with a target. Very effective and cool. The Limitations the movie produced would not allow for all of Spidey's innovative Webs. Although I think the Movie does hint that he can shoot wide or narrow. More on the movie side of it, I suppose Spidey's webs are not as likely to support too much weight.

Little known group of people called the Damage Control is set up to clean up after major battles and catostrophic events in the city. Maybe they also carry a giant broom to clean up Spidey's webs from time to time.
