I'm not sure what you expect them to do? Its still part of the Backlot, hence just the facades. Until they redo the entire Backlot area its going to continue to be just the facades.

I still strongly believe a New Philharmagic video is coming. Maybe a 50th WDW effort. It would make sense with the weird late roll out to WDSP and DCA.

If only they had the big screen, that’s kind of the whole gimmick, but the Donald AA is nice.

I think they did a really nice job with the marquee...maybe it will draw a few more people in. I'd like to see it, even in it's far less than optimal state. While it does appear it will be staying awhile, the new marquee does appear to give them the ability to easily change to something different later on.

3D shows don’t really do well out here compared to the ones played in Florida for some reason. If they are gonna do a new 3D show, I hope it doesn’t involve Frozen.

This is actually an improvement for the Hollywood Blvd. street in DCA.

Keep in mind however, while this is an improvement, it's an improvement from some of the cheapest and ugliest "Imagineering" of the modern era. It replaces a concrete slab and exposed steel beam cave where people sat on metal chairs and ate hot dogs on plastic trays.

But an improvement is an improvement, no matter how low the bar is. Congrats DCA!
