That has to be a new record.
FOUR days sell out in one day, today.

Methinks this is a big hit.

So....
Are Guests buying up all of these tickets because they enjoyed past HalloParties......or because they don't have to deal with 'Genie +' nonsense?

Inquiring minds want to know.
;)

I think (just a hunch) that more families are purchasing MNSSHP tickets for the reduced wait times due to Genie+

Genie played zero roll in my group getting tickets.

I think there’s some pent up demand for two plus years of not having the event. The after hours event had no castle show, no parade, and fireworks only the 2nd year. This is the first party since MVMCP 2019 with a full slate of entertainment.

Anecdotally, they also seem to have listened to guest feedback about enjoying more limited attendance as these parties don’t look anywhere near as busy as the 2019 ones did (I’m going on 9/16, so I’ll have more of an idea then).

Of course, I could be completely wrong and there’s something else entirely driving demand this year.

At the party tonight (yesterday now) and it was full but not to where it was excessive. Wait times were low and between the parades castle shows, and fireworks, much of the rest of the park felt very manageable. Even some of the character meets and photo pass locations were 5 or 10 min max.

I enjoyed tonight more than the last one I attended in 2017. Well worth it, and plenty of candy!

Seems to be the general consensus. And there looks to be a pretty big exodus after the fireworks, which should lead to lower crowds for the 2nd parade and the last Villain Spelltacular.

When you wait too long to buy tickets for October 18th and they sell out...The 19th is my birthday so I guess the 20th will have to do.

The plan was to go on the 18th and 20th, but I could only get tickets for one party right now so I snagged the 20th. Hopefully the 21st is still open in the next couple of weeks.

Wow. That was not my experience on the 16th. Glad it worked well for you thought!

FYI... if your employer offers discounts using Tickets at Work, you can buy tickets to the 9/29 party for $125; 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28 parties for $161; 10/16, 10/20, 10/23, 10/25, 10/27 parties for $143.
Yet Disney cast members still get no discounts on party tickets.

They increased capacity last year…boo
Last year was the Halloween/After-hours Hybrid. Didn't they increase capacity only because they were able to lock down enough staff to handle extra capacity?

Anyway... live bloggers showed last year's After Hours event to be totally uncrowded.

I think it was more that they thought they could get away with more guests. And clearly, they were right.

I didn’t find it to be crowded, but it was about rides and I never found the rides to be crowded at MNSSHP either. It was the entertainment.
