And Hunny HuntI'll grant that the ride was ambitious, but is it fun or memorable? Not to me.
On a side note I don't know how they can go wrong if they develop a trackless Mickey ride as cool as Mystic Manor.
I forgot that was a thing.I forgot about Block Party Bash. I don't think I even remember what it looked like. Looking at the pictures, it looks like a cheap version of the Pixar Play Parade.
It felt very Epcot like and similar to Tapestry of Dreams. There were no Disney characters in it but the floats and the huge puppets where very creative. It was a lot more adult oriented.was Eureka! a fun parade? It looks pretty interesting, but I never got to see it

Which kinda makes sense as DCA was much more adult oriented...hence, one of the big complaints against the park when it opened...not much for those darn kiddies to do.It felt very Epcot like and similar to Tapestry of Dreams. Seeing footage of the parade reminds me of the short lived Animal Kingdom parade that ran during the first few years of the parks opening before Mickey's Jammin Jungle Parade. It felt very Epcot like and similar to Tapestry of Dreams. @OCDisney on twitter. I started a thread in this section, by the way where there's a little discussion going on.Where did you find that?
So, with this new map pretty much confirming the new DCA expansion pad, do you think this Mickey ride could go in this area? Or would it go somewhere else?
Very true, but I thought Marvel Land was going on the parking lot behind ToT, to connect it to GotG?With absolutely zero insider knowledge, I really suspect the Animation building or right across from it to create a bit of a separation of the Marvel project.
I think we'll have to wait on MiceAge to spill the beans. Now that it has been floated they usually follow along and give more specifics.
This wouldn't be able to break ground until at least 2018 when the new transportation hub opens.

I really don't how that makes thematic sense, but with GotG I guess Disney's thrown that consideration out of the window.Mice Age changed the position about 6 months back to that Northern plot.
I still don't understand why, but the evidence is certainly now strongly supporting it.

And that's why I'm so confused, because what we have heard about MarvelLand completely contradicts everything else that's been announced (i.e. GotG, like you said). You know, there's always room for multiple MARVEL areas right? I mean, the MCU covers so much in space and time, there could easily be two separate areas, similar to what you said. Or maybe a GotG themed area?Since they are not taking the cheap route by expanding the park boundary, redirecting the monorail beam etc. I can only imagine we are missing a piece of the puzzle.
Perhaps long term plans for something that makes more sense to fall behind the Tower's new look. Whether that be more Space fairing Marvel, Star Wars, or something completely out of the blue like Wall E/Big Hero 6.
Everything I understand about the Marvel Expansion seems to be period Captain America, which actually jives far better with Hollywood then GoTG Tower.
Really, the tower is what's so confusing...
