Devils advocate: Now they can do some more original ideas for a third park instead of making it the 'Islands of IP'!
I'm certain if a third park was opening with basically what we are getting now (Star Wars, Marvel, Frozen and a Mickey ride) we'd be hearing the exact same complaints. With the added bonus of why is it taking so long and why hasn't Disneyland gotten an E ticket since Indy?
I really hate the WDW model where the only true expansion is with new parks. No wonder WDW fans are chomping at the bit for a fifth gate. They've been trained it's only expansion by subtraction unless they build another half day park.
WDW's biggest mistake was AK (even if the park is My favorite). If all that investment was spread amongst their other three parks we would have had three acceptable gates going into the millennium as opposed to four in various states of disrepair and size issues.
