Mickey Fantasia hat

Just wondering if someone may be able to help me with this. My son likes to get a hat and wear it the entire time we are at the world. He wants the Mickey Fantasia hat, aka the hat at Disney Studios. I'm not sure what that hat is called. Can anyone tell me if this is usually available at the resort (POR for us) or will we have to wait to get to the parks to get one?

One was available at POP when I was there a few months back. Chances are probably good that you can get one at your resort, too.

Resort merchandise is usually hit or miss. I would say that most have one or more of the sorcerer's apprentice hat variations (with or without lights), but they are definitely in all of the park hat shops.

If they don't have it you can always go to DTD and get one there.

Port Orleans Riverside has one of the best resort resort gift shops on property with a great selection of items. As a another poster said, resort merchandise does vary so it's hard to say if that "exact" hat is available there at this time; but I would guess that it would.

I've seen this hat at the airport gift shop, resort gift shops, park gift shops, exterior hat carts around the parks, and of course Downtown Disney. I don't think you should have any issue at all finding this hat lol.

DS got one at the POR gift shop last March. Whether their stock changes or not is another matter. But I've seen them in every park and DTD too.

Goodness, I have seen the Sorcerer Mickey hat in nearly every hotel we have stayed in...some even light up in the ears. If your resort does not have it, DTD will or whichever park you enter first will have it.

Yeah... you'll find one of those hats at just about every store in Disney.

Myself, I am a huge Sorceror Mickey fanatic and got one of these hats last time we went to DHS. Mine was $40 and it lights up and all (although since I've had it for a while, the lights don't light up anymore .) But I would recommend the hat since I wear it to every park I go to when we're in the world. And I always get comments on it
