Speaking of the queue, do we have any idea how much of the original Chinese Theatre queue (if any) will remain when the ride opens? I assumed they might keep some of the basic Theatre theming until the big transformation into the main attraction because it makes sense with the ride's story of going to see the premier of a new Mickey Mouse short; let me know if I'm wrong!

We still enter the ride through the Chinese Theatre. My thought is the preshow room will look different but everything up to that point will have a similar layout to before. I could be a mile off, though.

Pretty much. With a few prop changes, everywhere up until the original preshow theater should be identical. From there you will enter one of the preshow rooms, proceed to load, ride, then unload.

Awesome, thank you! I really loved the feel of the Chinese Theatre lobby inside, so I'll be happy if that part is somewhat the same with a great new ride right behind it!

This is a really old tweet form Mickey Views but I just found it again.

I think we may have been a tad harsh about this ....

Clearly this is proof that the Studios Bucket Challenge is to be the new “interactive” element at the park. Not wanting to miss out on the fun (SOTMK, Pirates, Agent P) but with the budget constraints they face, RFID chips will be embedded in bright yellow buckets around the park. Scan all the buckets with your magic band or card, you get a special, certificate, possibly even a collectible yellow bucket card (tbd).

I hear (*) TPTB are a little upset this has leaked out. It was intended to be a surprise announcement to distract from the Universal 3rd gate plans.

* Maybe it’s time to get help about these voices in my head ;)
