easier as bulletin points

watching these mickey shorts
these ren and stimpy comparisons are not fair
character art resembles stickers
background art is gorgeous
crude elements and themes do exist but are minimal
mostly a great, respectful and worthy successor to the originals

not sure why people feel the need to condemn it
Exactly! I love the shorts and I feel like have a ride about it would be really incredible and groundbreaking! So hyped! :D

Here's the portrait titled "Spreading Happiness Around the World” and “features Mickey floating over a world full of happiness.”

The painting was revealed at Comic Con 2018.
Oh, brother.

It's just projection mapped screens. No better than Universal.
I don't know, the announcement made them seem half physical half screen. Like the trees and stuff were physical props with physical colors, but mickey was a projection.
And besides if this is all screen, it is the most immersive and innovative screen ride in years.

Sorry if the reveal of the painting wasn’t a good enough “surprise” for everyone.

Because the painting was such a let down after the build up. Not even sure why that was a secret. If you really did know (and not saying if you did or didn't) you could have just said some new Mickey art is being shown. That would have provided all the information without ruining any secret.

Wait for Destination D in November.

Why do you keep trying to get people's hopes up. At this point I don't anticipate anything until D23 next summer.

Destination D is Mickey-centric this year and they’ve already announced a panel for the ride — if there’s an announcement to be, there’s a solid chance it’d occur there. Here’s the panel description:
  • Catching Up with Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway— Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in 2019, the first ride-through Mickey Mouse attraction, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, will push the limits of immersion for the Disney experience. Join members of the Walt Disney Imagineering creative team for a sneak peek of the zany twists and turns of this upcoming groundbreaking attraction!

Unless they are going to pull a Steve Job's "One More Thing", I again don't anticipate anything about DL until D23. However if it does happen then it'd be a happy surprise.

However with that being said, if and its a big if they do announce DL as well then my prediction of Jan/Feb/Mar starting demo/construction I made in the other thread would be more likely.

Timing seems right also. Considering that I believe @TP2000 had mentioned that’s about when the green light should be given (which is after November elections for Anaheim).

Are you playing at being a troll, or do you think that this is a Spirit thread where you don't get challenged for spitting out uninformed Disney-hate?

MMRR is more than projection mapped screens. It's been said so many times in this thread. You've seen that, right?

Also, we can only wish that Universal's projections were mapped. They only recently started using that technology.

I'm just not that impressed yet. I think we are getting overly hyped.
