The Steel Structure seems to be almost complete. I wonder how long until we see the mountains return to cover this huge building. Hopefully, before the parks reopen.

Well, the Disneyland version is bigger and in a custom built building, so they probably have more room to do stuff they couldn't fit into the smaller WDW version.

I hope so. And hope they fix some of the issues with that ride like the tornado room etc. I did read a rumor (can’t remember where) that DLs version won’t be getting the dance studio scene.
The DL building is narrower but longer, so, by dint of physical reality, it can't be a clone.
Whether that means the rooms are resized but with the same scenes, or, with alternate scenes is unknown unless sources leak more info.

Given that much of it uses projections on to shapes, they could very easily change it out for every major holiday with likely minimal effort.

Well now let’s not get too crazy! I don’t really think anyone stateside would fully appreciate the Bastille Day version. But maybe that’s just me.

That’s what they said about adding new content to Star Tours in 1987. They’ve finally started doing that. Toy Story Midway Mania! was supposed to keep getting new games and that only happened a couple of times.

It did once with Toy Story 3, new characters were added and Bo Beeps Balloon game was replaced.
Honestly would be so easy for them to do a Holiday Overly. But the lines are busy year-long so suppose that's why they don't do it as well as $$$$$.

The Tornado room is exactly what I was thinking of that I hope they axe if this isn't a direct clone; the ride would honestly be better off either going straight into the river sequence or with a projected tornado sequence there.
