Mr. Incredible, I agree with you 100%.I was there in March and it was a zoo.

You just have to know how to do it. I went President's week. It was very crowded. I didn't wait in line for anything longer than 30 minutes (and most of.my waits were under 15). Had my FPs scheduled, but a lot of the trip was pretty spontaneous. I'm going to be in Orlando in two weeks for a business trip. Going to the parks while I'm there. Have maybe two FPs at the moment. Just going to wing it otherwise. And I am confident I'll have a good time. You're absolutely right. I was just there in March and I was saying that to my wife. You can't go to Disney World and really enjoy the park without have to either follow the schedule created for you by Fast Pass +, or waiting on incredibly long lines, or paying to sit somewhere, or waiting among the masses to watch the castle show or the parade. You can't just do something free in the park that you paid so much money to enter. Everything has a cost or has become regulated to the point where spontaneity and exploration to enjoy the experience is gone. Sadly, Disney has made it chore to go to the parks.

And the rest of the parks .........If they're simply just planning to no longer offer fastpasses for this attraction then they're going the right way. Next should be Haunted Mansion!
The latest complaint must be about that Hogwarts Express stuck at the Main Street Station !I know why the lines were so long. First time visitors thought this was the new Mickey Mouse ride. They were also unsuccessful in finding the much talked about Harry Potter Land in the Magic Kingdom.
But there consolation prize was that they got to ride the Hogwarts Express around the whole park.
I know this has been covered in so many other threads, but I'll never understand how this IP is still in the park.
Apparently in testing they determined people are allergic to Jasmine.I want the Jasmin scent back!

Just a small update, Fastpasses are now available for Philharmagic through May 19.
I just take this to mean if they DO plan to refurb the attraction, they have apparently put that off to at least later in May.TRAGEDY AVERTED!!!
LOL
I don't really see how it's beneficial to have shows have FASTPASS. I get it's beneficial to Disney. I guess "piece of mind" knowing you can get into a show?? Knowing you don't have to wait too long in line?

Are you sure you weren't at Animal Kingdom?I was there in March and it was a zoo.
Back in the day, there were several 'walk on' attractions. I can't think of any now![]()

Wow. Philharmagic is the new Small World. Welcome to the 2020's, Mr Banks...
Country Bears, Tiki Room, Swiss Family Tree House, Carousel of Progress, People Mover (half the time), Main St. Vehicles, Star Tours (half the time), Muppet Vision, Tough to be a Bug, Diggin in Dinoland, Both the Nature Walks in AK, Primeval Whirl, SSE (half the time), Mission Space (most of the time), American Adventure, 3 Amigos, Impressions de France, Perry's World Showcase adventure thing. Probably some more. With the shows, if I only have to wait for the previous show to end, then I'm calling that a walk on.Back in the day, there were several 'walk on' attractions. It will NEVER be a chore for myself to visit the parks at WDW. Going to work, cleaning the house, getting groceries, paying bills-those are chores. On most days, outside of holidays, if you do rope drop and plan your route, you can do alot of the attractions you want before the park starts to fill up. If we have an ADR for breakfast at BoG for 8:00, we can hit 7DMT, HM, BTMRR, Splash and POTC before 11:30 am, and never wait more than 15 -20 minutes. After that, the lines lengthen considerably, so our FPs are always scheduled for afternoon/evening. Does it require planning and forethought? Yup, but that doesn't bother me, TBH.You're absolutely right. I was just there in March and I was saying that to my wife.
