I doubt we go this year. 2018 was GREAT. The only ride not at 5 minute waits was for 7DMT. That was 20 minutes. We LOVED it! 2019 felt like they didn’t close the park to non-party guests. People were lined up almost an hour before the parade almost 10 rows deep. People REFUSED to let you get through the crowd worrying about losing their perfect view. I wouldn’t go even if they incentivized me. Thanks, but no thanks.

I think the issue for myself is that I buy a park ticket for the day/night but if it’s a party night, I have to leave that park at 6pm. I know Disney priced tickets for certain crowd level times, maybe they should price park tickets differently during party nights to reduce the cost. What I don’t understand is if they keep raising all the prices on tickets, food and events how are we going to keep going. What exactly is your problem with upsells? I notice a lot of people throwing hissy fits over other people wanting to enhance their vacations with extras, and I just don't understand it. What's wrong with having added benefits, experiences, perks, etc available for those who want them?
And as a consumer...that is a perfectly reasonable and really only logical stance.I think the issue for myself is that I buy a park ticket for the day/night but if it’s a party night, I have to leave that park at 6pm. It reduces the park hours available to guests who do not want to buy the party pass. The park closes early several days each week to accommodate the party. Guests who are only staying a few days may have zero opportunity to be in the Magic Kingdom after 6 pm even though they paid full admission. What exactly is your problem with upsells? And because of the park closing early so often, the days they are open later are more busy. Meaning if you take a vacation during that time, you get less of an experience, unless you pay more by going to the party. People do not always have the ability to choose any date, they are stuck with certain times of the year they can go. If Disney wants to sell party packages they need to set aside a separate area to host the party.
Looking at the 2019 dates, in August and September there was not a single time where the party was held two days in a row. In October, there are some times where it was held two days in a row, but never three. In short, there is no way that guests "who are only staying a few days" would have "zero opportunity to be in the Magic Kingdom after 6 pm".It reduces the park hours available to guests who do not want to buy the party pass. Should be any day nowAny word on when the party dates will be officially released?
So frustrating.
The week we are there in October, only 3 nights are not the Halloween party.
I don’t want to have to spend another $1000 to have my nieces and nephews experience Walt Disney World Magic Kingdom fireworks for the first time...
