Alright, so I just watched a video of last year’s Hallowishes, and while it’s a decent show.... it’s really weak when you compare it to Happily Ever After. Fingers crossed they have a new show this year, because that was kind of disappointing to watch (HEA spoiled me).
I agree. While it was nice to see Hallowishes last year, it did feel like a downgrade from HEA. Hopefully Disney realizes that the parties should offer an upgraded experience, but if they sold just as many tickets last year at the higher prices, then they may have no reason to do so. You would think at least some new projections on the castle would be simple enough to add now that they've had a year to work on it.

The perimeter fireworks are anything-but-unimpressive in the park.

An update would be welcome though.

They could keep the audio and add projections that are up to date if they didn’t want to create an entirely new show. I thought the music selection was pretty good- though having Unfortunate Souls in the show twice is a little weird.

Does anyone have an idea of the end date of MNNSH this year? Last year we went Nov 1st and had a great time and it wasn’t super busy. My wife and I have our trip booked and it’s the first time we are staying this long (6 days) and are going with meal plans as well to see how we like that. We just don’t want to miss the parade our son really loved it last year and are hoping they’ll keep the date.

It’s definitely not making it easy because from what we’ve researched there is also a marathon going on during our stay. I don’t know if that helps or hurts the chance of them keeping the Nov 1st date ticket available. I really wish they would just make the dates known!

Yes, the increase from last year was substantial in some dates.... even if the prices I mentioned are slight higher than buying directly from Disney, I am comparing the prices for international travel agencies last year x this year and here is what I found:

Fisrt tier prices in 2017:
$90 adt / $84 chd in 2017 - same thing in 2018.

*****Added another tier in 2018****

Second tier prices:
$100 adt / $93 chd in 2017 // $107 adt / $101 chd in 2018 -> 7% increase

Third tier prices:
$109 adt / $104 chd in 2017 - -$119 adt / $113 chd in 2018 -> 9% increase

Fourth tier prices:
$123 adt / $118 chd in 2017 - $145 adt / $139 chd in 2018 -> 17,8% increase

Fifth tier prices:
$142 adt / $137 chd in 2017 - $167 adt / $160 chd in 2018 -> 17,6% increase

Looks like October 30th will be our night. I know the party on the 31st is usually super crowded. Does anyone know how the party on the 30th has been?

Parties typically draw larger crowds as they get closer to the specific holiday (halloween, Christmas). The party on the 31st will 100% sell out so the 30th might be crowded even sell out with people that missed out on the 31st. That being said I have been to sold out party nights before and found the crowds manageable

The MK has a closing time of 6pm on August 21, though I don't see this date on the list of party dates given to international travel agents above. Does anyone know if there is another event going on that night, or will that likely be a MNSSHP date as well?

My understanding is that they have pulled that party night and the park will now close at 9.

Parties are 8/17, 8/24, 8/28, 8/31.

I’m not convinced those prices are accurate. That company is likely making some money here.
That makes sense, but is that even allowed? I thought travel agencies always had to sell things at the same price as Disney, and then made their money on the commission Disney pays.
