Space Mountain is even more of an embarrassment.
I mean...at least you can't see the poor projections and the questionable track now, right?

Was still hoping for the glowing rockets...which are literally stickers and have no maintenance aside from black lights to "charge" them...

gunpowder pete isn't even like a ghost pirate or anything he's just a pirate. he has nothing to do with halloween. mansion has carlotta and renatta outside who are ghosts that fit with the halloween theming. yes the mansion's main theme is ghosts, but pirates has skeletons in the beginning and they didn't even give gunpowder pete skeleton makeup or ripped clothes or anything.

The projections for SM were fixed recently. It's looked great the past few months. I thought for the first few years I went to WDW that the ride was supposed to be nearly in complete darkness. Then recently, boom stuff flying everywhere.

Are the effects and glow-in-the-dark cars back in Space Mountain? In recent years, SM has seemed a lot darker from the POV of the PeopleMover. The simple glow-in-the-dark on the cars made a great effect as if stars and comets were flying around. I always loved going through Space Mountain in TTA People Mover and, although it's still cool, it's not the same when you can't see hardly anything and no neat effects.

While it was not fancy, I found Deep Space Mountain to be thrilling and extremely disorienting. It was a blast for someone who has been riding SM for decades. A first-timer or fifth-timer would likely suffer from extreme whiplash. I appreciated each of the overlays for providing a novel experience. Mad Tea Party should be like this nightly.

Quick question; what does the candy corn shake taste like? I’ve heard conflicting reports. Does it have a vanilla/orange taste or a candy corn taste?

I haven't seen any in person of course, but they seem like "nice" efforts. I appreciate they're actually trying. Maybe things can get improved upon over the years. But it's a nice start.

I'd enjoy SM in pitch black. And I'd actually go on Mad Tea Party.

And it's sad to see anyone complain about using live actors in Pirates. Really not sure what people wanted with that one. Seems decent enough?

This is one of those "they can never win" things.

Glad you enjoyed it!

EDIT: (instead of a new post because I thought of this after I posted) While maybe not "amazing efforts", some of this, with the help of the new stage show introduced a few years ago, has me reconsidering attending a party. I'm actually considering it for the first time in 10 years. But I wish they had updated the fireworks (but it's still a solid show that I'd like to see in person again before/if they change it up in the future) and changed up the parade a little more (but the music remains catchy and fun, I'd hate to lose that so float updates would be nice). So we'll see.

But I do like seeing them try new things and updating things, slowly. I guess parades and fireworks are more "wants" than "needs" but how long can guests, even if they are favorites, want to keep seeing the same when the regular parades and fireworks have gotten (and it's subjcetive, of course) better? Hopefully soon we get some updates.

The real question is whether the Christmas parties start to pop up in the first week of January.
And here comes the Church ladies in there hugo. To Complain about These changes. Just like they did about the red head. Thats not real. The pirates language is to perverse. Please go to universal.
