So, no Nov. for MNSSHP? I'm surprised, since Oct. 31st is on a wed., they could easily squeeze two more parties in on thursday and friday. Haven't the dates oozed over into Nov. in the past?

This most likely has to do with the amount of time to change over the decorations in the park from Halloween to Christmas. With the first MVMCP starting on the 8th of Nov that gives them approximately 7 overnights to make the change over.

I wonder at what point we're going to see the Halloween and Christmas events be a year round thing, just without the decorations until the season arrives.
Mickey's Not So Scary Tuesday Party and Mickey's Very Merry Thursday Party!

Although, y'know, "Christmas in July" is a popular marketing gimmick for retailers. I could see Disney jumping on that bandwagon too.

Does anyone know if the Santa Claus on the fire escape over Engine Company #1 near Mama Melrose's is a year-round decoration ?

It takes 2 nights.

Do you know if they schedule in a buffer to account for unexpected weather or complications that may arise during install? I knew they could do install of decorations in two days but could've sworn it was at least one to two nights to take stuff down and then another two days to put the next set up?

The last MNSSHP was 11/1 this past year and it was mostly Christmas by 9 am 11/2. Completely Christmas by 11/3.

I want to say they sneak the parade taping in early November now so the tree can be out by the first party? Not solid on that, though.

I must admit I did not pay much attention to the change over last year. Crazy how fast disney can move if they really want to. I still remember going to Universal last year and IoA being decked out for Christmas while HHN was still going over at USF

£236 for 2 adults and 1 child .. really fancied this but not paying that much extra .. think there should be some sort of discount for guests already staying on site who have a park pass for that day anyway

Is it me, or is this price jump absurd? One would hope they’d be revamping the whole thing when some dates cost as much as a full day (or more), but that seems optimistic to the point of foolishness.

You know they're starting Halloween early when auditions for the Sanderson Sisters and dancers go up in April...
