MGM is only a half day park if you want to see Tower of Terror, Rock N Roller Coaster, Great Movie Ride, Star Tours, and Muppet Vision. There's no way you can see all of that plus Indy stunt show, Lights Motors Action Stunt show, Beauty and the Beast, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, and Fantasmic in a WHOLE day :)

Really if you just cared about thrill rides, the Magic Kingdom is a half day park. It all just depends on what you want to see and how much time you want to spend looking around at shops and themeing.

:D Thats why i used the phrase people say . Even using commando tactics ive yet to be able to complete these half day parks in much less than a day, but then i think some things are ment to be savoured.

They joy of having a two week holiday :D

**Sigh** Two week holiday! It's been 4 years since we were able to take 2 weeks in WDW! Definitely the way to go. barnum42 - I envy you!!!

BTW - If I had to choose I would pick MGM over SeaWorld. Just a personal opinion. Both are outstanding parks full of wonderful attractions but I really lose myself in the atmosphere and theming at MGM. My favorite park (even if it does need some updating.)

If going to WDW is even a semi-regular thing for you, I'd say use the free Sea World tickets, get there early in the morning, and if you wind up seeing and doing everything worth doing fast enough (or you just wind up not digging it), then consider finishing the night at MGM. Heck, I'd ANTICIPATE going to MGM, and then, if you wind up falling in love with Sea World, then savor it and take your time there. Why waste a free ticket?

in regards to marlaymike's suggestion...does anybody know, CAN you add a park-hopper option to a single-day ticket? I would guess if you could, it's still not economically feasible to do so.

Maybe what you could do, if budget permits, is buy a multi-day Magic Your Way ticket for WDW, and add the park hopper option AND no expiration date option. This way, you can go to MGM this year if you choose to do so, and you can use the rest of the ticket next time you go. It means more $$$ now, butyour next trip will wind up being MUCH cheaper as a result.

Words of wisdom. The Studios park is my favorite, but free is free.

   . . . :lookaroun . . . or you could pay full rate and go to the Studios. A day of Tower and Aerosmith, with a little Muppets and Great Movie Ride thrown in, is a good day, anyday.

If you only want to ride and have no interest in animals then I would say MGM. I love Sea World and would choose it over MGM. I really like to see the animals and shows that they have at Sea World and honestly wish they did not feel the need to junk it up with rides. When I go to a park like that I am not thinking about riding on anything, just like when I go to the zoo. I am there for the animals and the atmosphere. Have a good time either way.

What I would suggest is to go to the disney wed site and look at what attractions they have and then look at Seaworld. I like both parks but I love seaworld cause I love to feed the dolphins. However MGM has a new attraction that is suppose to be really net. I have done both and I would go to seaworld just my opinion. I have year pass to 6 parks so I see alot of stuff and have my favs. Remember it all started with a mouse....Walt Disney
