Merida's New Look

Yahoo News (Shine) is also now reporting that Disney has pulled the new look.

We popped into the local Disney store the other day to spoil our kids. While wandering about, I noticed that they had a number of items for sale with 2D Merida on them.

I'm thinking that 2D Merida is here to stay.

I don't consider her to be a princess...
I only consider the classics as princesses, Snow White, Ariel, Jasmine, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty etc.

It was not too long ago that Ariel and Jasmine were "new" princesses, they weren't classics when they started. As long as Disney lives, there will be new classic princesses made. Talk to me in ten years when we have 5 more new princesses and Meridah is the new Ariel....
