Memory Maker

What is this? It on my reservations, and looks like they are asking for a code on the back of a card. I'm assuming that is the photopass card? What if I prepaid the photopass plus ahead of time?

Thanks!

Guess I don't see buying the memory maker if it doesn't include a CD, That is kind of the reason you would get the Photo pass+, If you have to buy your photos why do it?? How much is the Memory maker? and then you have to pay an extra 19.99 for a cd?

You still get all your photos with MM, they are all downloadable and unlimited number of times from the moment they are available until they expire.

Hi,
A question about Memory Maker, for anyone who has used it: am I allowed to print the digital photos myself at Wal-Mart, Snapfish, etc? Will there be a copyright on the photos that will not allow me to order my own prints?
Thanks!

There is a photo release included to allow you to print your photos wherever you wish.

Thanks for your reply! I'm also wondering if any photographers come around to the tables when you do the character dining? Do you only get the photo taken when you enter the restaurant (like at Chef Mickey's) or do any photographers circulate with the characters and come to your individual table? (Just trying to decide if it's worth the cost...my husband and I are taking our two little girls and I def. want pictures of the four of us. It just seems pricey if there aren't photographers readily available at these locations.) Thanks for any input! :)

You get the photo taken before the meal but not during the meal with character interaction, you must have your own camera for those. Most character interactions in the parks have photographers but not the restaurants in my experience, I would take a small point-and-shoot for the at-table meets and leverage the PP+ for much of the in-park photography. The PP+ photographers will also take photos with your camera, I make use of both.

The cost/benefit usually comes down to how many photos you expect to have taken during your trip, we stay for 14 days or more and can easily accumulate 500 or more PP images so it is well worth the $150 or so the package costs.

A CM on the phone told me that you get all the ride photo prints that you want with MM but I'm seeing in other places that you don't. Does anyone know the truth?
The $149 advance purchase version contains ride photos, I believe it costs $199 at the parks though. I do not believe the $119 package includes them though.

Close. The Memory Maker+ package includes 30 days worth of downloads from when you do your first download. Which is really only a problem if you download a picture your first day, but try to squeeze in a separate trip on day 40-45, as you won't have any more downloads on days 31-45. You can download them as much as you want, but only within those 30 days, and as long as they haven't expired yet.

Ride prints? Nope. You only get the digital version added to your account if you purchase either Memory Maker+ or Attractions+. You are entitled to as many as you want though, so could sit there and ride Buzz non stop and end up with 30 pics of you on Buzz. As @Callen pointed out, this feature isn't included in the $119 Photopass Archive CD pre-purchase.

100% correct.

Yeah I think I'm gonna remove memory maker then. No use in paying that much for digital only pics. I can take digital pics myself. Since it's our honeymoon, we might buy a few photopass pictures but a cd of pictures is definitely not worth $150.00.
