Ok.
On a totally different note, I saw a bunch of deers and sheeps today.😁😁😁
No one says deers and sheeps are correct terms of referring to multiple animals of those species. But referring to multiple Lego blocks, not sets or company name the term Legos are allowed. So you can play with your Lego and I will play with my multiple blocks of Legos.

Looks like I’ll be enjoying the new Obi-Wan trailer today for may the fourth.

Happy May the Fourth everyone.

EDIT: Maybe even play some Skywalker Saga.

Figured I would start a fun conversation, since it seems we have had alot of negativity in here for a bit.
What are you doing for May the 4th?
Anyone going to Galaxys Edge?

I will be watching return of the jedi and building the lego dagobah diorama set,

well after work :(

I wouldn't worry about the negativity too much. The way I see it, if you're happy and satisfied, you generally have no reason to go on a message board and talk about it. When people are talking on groups like these, its because they're trying to find answers and trying to see if anyone feels the same way they do. I think its important that grievances are aired, and we can work towards finding solutions. I wouldn't resort to making random off-topic posts just to cheer people up.

I get what you are saying, but I think these kind of threads are good. There is a lot of negativity here. Very different atmosphere from when I first joined. People used to share happy WDW stories, not just complaints. I Know people still do, but its less then it was. And there may be people not wanting to share because they don't want to be told what they are excited about is a waste of time or money or told they sound like a 5yr old. Yes that has happened. There was a lot less snark as well.

I'm all for sharing what is bad show or what Disney can do better and even the terrible job evil Bobby C is doing.
Its gone beyond that though. People actively 💩 on others excitement of WDW. Just the other day I got asked if there anything I didn't like about WDW, like it was a requirement. There are lots of things I think are bad show. Disney is certainly not beyond reproach. The downers can keep on covering all that. Life is to short to be a grumpy gus. @ppete1975 you keep on making your happy threads.

I think the biggest thing is that we used to have things to look forward to. When I was still new to the boards was when everyone was excited about D23 in 2017 when so many awesome things were announced. This was when @marni1971 was giving us cryptic hints about all the big things that were going to be announced. There was enjoyment for the parks we had, excitement for all of the stuff coming, and and a love for the memories of what we had.

There was talk of price hikes and how much we disliked those, and how IPcot was a thing, and too many strollers. But it was a mixture.

Lately its been very negative, ticket prices, show quality.. but the bigger issue is Disneys fault.

They havent given us anything to get excited for. Ticket prices, construction time lines that by the time stuff is built we barely care, rides that already exist other places, rides we didnt ask for that are all screens (gotg). Disney lately has over sold, underwhelmed and underperformed.

The company needs to announce some exciting new things to get the community reinvested and excited. Sadly the state of florida might mire everything.

I have high hopes for D23 but thats my eternal optimism. Although anything announced we wont see till almost the end of the decade... let that sink in.

Ha read the long diatribe I just put up here, it doesnt bother me. I just wish there was more to get excited about with Disney.

I don't disagree that Disney could help themselves by improving some things and living to the hype they create for certain new attractions, shows, etc....
My biggest issue is posters here taking a dump on others excitement. You hate new Magicband +, fine that's your rite. You hate the Epcot redesign, cool, its not for everyone. Don't like Moana water area, tear it apart, all good.
Calling people names, even if indirectly, cause they express excitement for these things is so Facebook.
I guess its the way of the internet.
