I think the biggest thing is that we used to have things to look forward to. When I was still new to the boards was when everyone was excited about D23 in 2017 when so many awesome things were announced. This was when
@marni1971 was giving us cryptic hints about all the big things that were going to be announced. There was enjoyment for the parks we had, excitement for all of the stuff coming, and and a love for the memories of what we had.
There was talk of price hikes and how much we disliked those, and how IPcot was a thing, and too many strollers. But it was a mixture.
Lately its been very negative, ticket prices, show quality.. but the bigger issue is Disneys fault.
They havent given us anything to get excited for. Ticket prices, construction time lines that by the time stuff is built we barely care, rides that already exist other places, rides we didnt ask for that are all screens (gotg). Disney lately has over sold, underwhelmed and underperformed.
The company needs to announce some exciting new things to get the community reinvested and excited. Sadly the state of florida might mire everything.
I have high hopes for D23 but thats my eternal optimism. Although anything announced we wont see till almost the end of the decade... let that sink in.
