May Park Hours Posted!!!

I'm going to be there the week of the 11th - 18th, and it seems like there are less EMH's than normal. There's none for Wednesday at all, is that normal? I'm wondering if they haven't all been announced yet. I base my ADR's on the EMH's so I want to get them all right when I call in 10 days. I hope WDWinfo is right!

Well, Disney is having some media fest for the opening of AIE ... and they love having parties at DAK (although I very much doubt there's something new coming to that park that's going to be announced) ... so it is possible that they're having a party that night.

I also rechecked and see that I was mistaken and there are no 11 p.m. (or midnight closings) at MK at all ... just two 10s ... so that very much is a cut from recent years. ALmost the entire month is 9-8 with some 9-9s tossed in.

The Studios are almost 9-7 every night, again not like last/past Febs. and DAK is looked like mostly 9-5 the whole month.

So again, there have been some major cuts in the hours dept.

If WDWinfo is correct, there will not be any Wishes during my 8 day stay in May.But there will be a couple of Spectromagic Parades .

I looked at the WDWinfo site as well... and I think they don't have solid information for all the parks yet. Wishes has a ? in its timeslot, which means they just don't know. Also I believe the MK hours are only a placeholder, and will be adjusted as TDO gets its act together. Likely to see some late evenings for the MK til 11PM, and Wishes will be added in timeslots according to the actual park hours.

Also, TDO has changed park hours before, even after they are officially posted. Case in Point: In Oct-08, The Disneyparks site said the MK would be open until 9pm on Saturday January 16th. In late December-08, the closing time was changed to 11PM... EMH excluded.

People are saying that this is great news and what not, but unless I can't read this schedule, it appears that WISHES will have reduced showings in May. How can this be great news? Now, take all this with a grain of salt, I don't know where WDWInfo.com gets its information.

Park Hours and events appear to be generic placeholders that were put in place for the dates following the LAST ENTRY in the Disney Parks Calendar: 4/18/2009.

Which site are the hours on?

I keep looking at the website (new format) and no hours are posted past 4/29. I click on plan from the home page and then go to park hours. Am I doing something incorrectly? My trip is May 15 - 22. I'm really excited but I want to plan :sohappy:

May hours

I am having a hard time with this May hours thing too. I can't understand why they haven't been posted yet. This is really messing me up. I have been on WDW official sight also, doing all the same things, going to the planning section, looking at the hours, and zippo. Am I doing something wrong, looking in the wrong spot, what's the deal? I have been going on 10-15 times per day, so I won't miss it as soon as it comes available. Are other websites basing their info on last years hours? HELP.:hammer:

We're planning on going down for the exact same dates! See you on the Magical Express!

Have the announced the dates for the Halloween party yet? I see them on touringplans.com, but I'm not sure if those dates are valid.
