Great photos.

Talk about visual intrusion into the park though?!?! Its totally destroyed any feasibility that this place is a studio. From the photos it looks like there is a bit of track in almost every corner of the park.

Just 2 corners on the left side of the park.

While it is an annoyance in New York, Seuss Landing and San Francisco when heading towards New York... otherwise it really isn't that bothersome... I have a very hard time seeing it/not being able to at all in Kidzone, Amity, and Hollywood... World Expo isn't a big deal as that area's theming is pretty futuristic already... and Production Central was always a bland backlot. It should hopefully bring some kinetic energy to the place.

It just seems this is just a flat out, unthemed coaster, plonked in the park. It's the kind of thing you put in a Six Flags type park, not a highly themed parked like Universal Studios.
Well, actually...in the beginning it was going to be themed...kinda.
The lift was going to be one of the "L"s in the word Hollywood, spelled out in huge letters between the two parks.

Now, it looks like they have scrapped that idea, and are just going to hang a big sign down the side of the lift.

I haven't heard if they are keeping the rings of lights up the lift.
I like it. It never really enters the Studio park other than the one spot behind Twister, so I don't find it an intrusion on the park as a whole.
Oh...and I love the multimedia X-Car trains.

It doesn't look that bad. But then again, as a passholder, I've gotten used to it.

I was in the park today, and found the coaster to be much less intrusive than I feared it would be. Plus, t looks like a blast.

Some other notes from today:

US

1) Rainy, but US was pretty crowded. IOA was dead.
2) 1st Imhotep was MIA
3) JAWS is really lame. I hadn't been on the ride in forever, but the skipper was terrible, and the effects just don't have the punch they used to.
4) MIB is still the best attraction of it's kind.
5) After my second go around with Simpsons, I'm still incredibly disappointed in the ride. Queue and preshow are fantastic, but the ride just falls flat.

IOA

1) I didn't do much, due to the frigid Orlando temperatures and the rain. As much as I love IOA...there are too many water attractions in the park.
2) Spidey was in tip-top shape. Still the best attraction in the world.
3) As excited as I am for Wizarding World, I couldn't find myself dreading the changes that could be coming to DD's queue more. I took more time than I usually do to walk the castle's dungeons, and I'm really going to miss the overall feeling I get in that place.

That's about it.

I couldn't agree more. The DD queue is one of the best things at the UO resort and it is a shame it has to be changed because of Potter. I'm glad they are building a new E-ticket type attraction, but I wish they didn't have to take over DD to get the new land.
